Rocket.Chat runs Matrix federation in production for government, defence, and critical infrastructure organizations, and that work shows where the protocol already meets customer expectations, and where it can go further. This talk shares our findings from real-world implementation conversations, findings from adoption, and proposals for native capabilities.
