The Matrix Conference

The Matrix Conference has previously traveled to Berlin and Strasbourg, with over 300 private enthusiasts, public and private sector professionals exchanging their know-how and developments.

We expect the same crowd of decision makers, experts, and Matrix enthusiasts from all over the world to join us in Malmö! The talks will be streamed live and recordings will be available after the conference.

Topics

The Matrix Conference covers a comprehensive variety of topics from the whole Matrix ecosystem, including protocol advancement, encryption and security, UX, safety and policy, bots and bridges, decentralisation, sovereignty of digital communication, sustainability of open source, collaboration in the public sector, and much more.

Formats

• Talks, including Q&A.
  Think technical lectures, case studies, or similar.

• Workshops.
  This includes discussion rounds, hands-on install parties or similar.

• Demos, which are offline-only.
  We'd love you to showcase different clients and projects from the ecosystem.
  The offline mode will make for more natural interaction with your audience and give you the tranquility of not accidentally showing something unintended on stream.

We welcome proposals from individuals innovating around Matrix, organisations working with Matrix, and everyone contributing to digital sovereignty.

We are not interested in receiving marketing talks in the CfP, but have sponsorship opportunities to help promote your product.
